Ian is a “Small Business Junkie” who loves to help clients achieve their Small Business Goals and Dreams! He created his coaching company, SB Dream Coach, and Milestone Business Acquisitions, his latest venture, so that he could, “…be what he didn’t see” as a young business owner. Dolores Sturdivant

Dolores Sturdivant is the Founder and CEO of TDS Group, LLC, a business consulting company providing access to financial and professional resources. She is a retired Vice President, Fifth Third Bank, Eastern Michigan and has a 44-year banking career with various leadership positions of increasing responsibility in International, Commercial, Nonprofit and Community Development Banking & Lending at Chase Bank formerly NBD Bank and Fifth Third Bank. Dolores is actively involved in serving the nonprofit community and raising funds to support various causes. She serves on the board of several nonprofit organizations, including: The Children’s Center Executive Board Member, Detroit Development Fund (Board Chairman), the Great Lakes Women’s Business Council Certification Board and Alpha Kappa Alpha Educational Advancement Foundation (At-Large Director 2014-2018). In 2013 Dolores was appointed to the corporate board of Hantz Bank, Southfield, MI, (where she served until it was sold to Credit Union One in 2019). Dolores is a state volunteer for AARP Michigan. She has received numerous awards and recognitions, including The Booker T. Washington 11th Annual Keys to Business Success Honoree, the Michigan Chronicle’s Women of Excellence Award, 70 over Seventy - Next Chapter Award for Entrepreneurship from the Hannan Center, Detroit and has appeared in several issues of Who’s Who in Black Detroit. Dolores is an active member of First Baptist Institutional Church where she serves as a Trustee. She is a graduate of Mackenzie High School in Detroit, has received a Bachelor of Arts from Wayne State University, Master’s in Business Administration from University of Detroit Mercy and a Certificate in Nonprofit Leadership and Development from Lawrence Technological University. She is a graduate of Leadership Detroit Class XXIII, member of National Association of Women Business Owners and Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® since 1972 and former President of the Lambda Pi Omega Chapter, Detroit, MI. In her spare time Dolores enjoys reading, playing golf and spending time with her family. She is a recent widow and has two sons, two grandsons and a granddaughter. Her favorite scripture is “And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.” Romans 8:28.

Jennifer Bright

Jennifer Bright is the Founder + CEO of Bright Ledgers, LLC. A longtime advocate for small businesses, Jennifer is passionate about helping small and medium-sized businesses and nonprofit organizations in establishing and maintaining their financial systems to allow them to focus on their day-to-day operations and missions. Jennifer’s motto is “All books tell a story,” and she considers herself a financial storyteller. She lives by the mission of Bright Ledgers – to help business owners understand their financial data to become financially empowered and make sound business and life decisions.

Jennifer has nearly 25 years of bookkeeping and accounting experience and spent 14 years of her career in the nonprofit accounting sector at the Controller/CFO level. Jennifer has been a full-time entrepreneur since February 2022, so she intimately understands the importance of financial systems to the life of a business owner.

Jennifer is an alumna of Cohort 2 of the Goldman Sachs One Million Black Women: Black in Business program and Bright Ledgers is a proud recipient of the 2022 Comcast RISE Creative Production Grant.

Born and raised in Detroit, MI, Jennifer is an avid sports fan and is a diehard supporter of all Detroit sports teams, especially the Detroit Lions. In her spare time, Jennifer loves to listen to music and is a novice DJ (DJ JenJenB). She cherishes spending time with family, friends, and her two Chorkie fur babies, Laila and Cruz. Jennifer also enjoys traveling, with desired locations being Northeast Michigan and Temecula, California wine country. Another favorite destination is anywhere her beloved Lions are playing (preferably a location with a warm climate).
